This coming year we are going to have a concert again. Anne Marie with help from her friend pull this off. We had a meeting last night. We have the program set. Now we have to get organized. We need publicity and good will to get this going. We want JW's spirit to be there so that other can continue to share his love.
We are going to try something new. We are going to have a "fashion show" I have been recruiting "models". I have been having fun doing that. We are going to meet on Monday again to get this going.

Board meeting 09-26-07
It was a long meeting. We made a lot of decision. We are going to move ahead and take on some risk and make an investment. We hope that this investment will give fruit in the future. When the investment become a reality I will reveal it.
I also have been thinking and talking to people about the future use of JW House. Who will best use it. I know we want patient's family to use it, but specifically, who and when should JW House be used is what I want to determine before the grand opening.

Anne, April, Alan and Anne Marie went to our storage and look for raffle items, donated items that can be sold easily to generate more income. We had a good time looking at all the things we have. We got organized too, putting things in groups so that we can easily get to it later.

The electricity is going in!!!. We visited our superintendent today. They gave us lots of advise as to how to continue our fundraising efforts. They say the foundation is going in on Thursday if we pass a few inspections.

Air System Car show
We participated at the Air System Car Show. Paul and Mary were there too. I am responsible to control access to the volunteer parking. I felt so powerful. People tried every thing to get in. Some act authoritative, some beg, some act lost. In the end all the spots were filled up. I got to go in the car show for free (admission $40)

We return in the afternoon and find that a second layer of dirt was added over a yellow sheet of water resistent material. I decided to take a picture of Anne Marie and one of myself to celebrate a big step forward.

Construction 9-14-07 morning pictures
This morning I was at the job site. I witnessed the first pouring of stones to form the foundation. I and AM was so excited that we were like kids. Non stop taking pictures.

09-14-07 Constractor Charity BBQ
We went to the BBQ to thank them for their donation from last year. This year's receipient include an organization that offer a camping experience to needy children and a charity that try to increase young people to go into the building industry.
AM always give a good speech. I always enjoy listening to her.

Construction 09-11-07
To day is full of excitement. I was told that they were going to pour concrete to start the foundation. I immediately told Anne Marie. I have to work, but I can see the job site on the third floor. So I come back and forth to take picture of the work. Later Anne Marie came and took some pictures too. If you really look hard at the second picture, you will see her in the picture. She is taking the third picture, the monster truck.
We were told that things is going to go faster, every day there will be new addition to the house. How exciting!!!
