Choir from Belgium participate in the Hospital Opening

A choir from Belgium came to help us open our new hospital. They sang for two days. I got wonderful feed back from people. They all say the choir sang beautifully.
The choir did one thing that was quite meaningful to me. They went into the ground where JW House is going to be built and did the first performance of JW House. Now thinking back, its so special for me that I can participate in that moment.
I will never forget that.

Hospital opening day 3

After three days, we are getting a little tired. However, we continue to have lots of fun. People just like to play our game and win lots of prizes. As you can see the JW House banner is hanged so that all come by and see it.
Jan and Debbie gave me a big hand. We were also lucky that some junior volunteer came to help out.

Hospital Opening Day 1

JW House was asked to participate in the opening festivities of the new Kaiser Hospital at Santa Clara.
We decided to have a game where participant can win easily and give out lots of prizes.
We took the snowman and change him to Ms snowman. We gave our lots of prizes including Mickey hat, art tee shirts etc.
Paul and Grace helped. Vicky bought some Sunflowers because AM love Sunflowers.
It was quite a success. Many people played our game.

2007 Toste Dinner

This is the third year the Tostes family is doing this. It is to honor their son Derek. All the fund raised were donated to JW House. We raised 10000 dollars this year. I always enjoy their live auction. Its done in Portuguese and I do not understand one word they say. I only know someone won when people started cheering. I hope that will be a small plague placed in JW House in honor of Derek.

We were walking. I took the lead, they followed. I love this picture.

How do I look from the eyes of the kids

We were working and talking one day while the kids were there. They started to draw. Each decided how I look like in their mind. So here's my picture as they see it.
